Experimenting with binaural beats

A very nice Danish guy at Facebook is helping me understand the technological possibilites in making these alpha wave mixes. One approach is the widely-known binaural beats technology, where the left and the right ear gets the music with 8-12 Hz difference, but it only works when heard through headphones.
Another approach I recently read about here.
I’m very excited to see how it works. In the meantime, the concept album, ‘Fourteen Dreams of Life’ is being developed in a smooth and surprisingly fast fashion. Again, the track previews are available at Fawm.org. Listen, enjoy, review.

New Directions

Everyone, hello.
I would lie if I said I’ve never worked on more than one project simultaneously, and usually it enlengthened the process quite a bit. But what can I do? I’m doing the same mistake now.
While the new “regular” album ‘Penumbra‘ is in hibernation for a while, I’m experimenting on healing/relaxing music, based on the 14 song-siblings I composed for the 2009 FAWM at fawm.org.
This “non-regular” album (meaning, it’s a concept album which will be released in two different versions) ‘Fourteen Dreams of Life‘ is a first for me: while there will be a version on Jamendo under creative commons, downloadable for free and supported with possible donations, an alpha-wave mix will be sold on iTunes – musically the same experience, but with a healing/relaxing effect on the listener.
I hope, this way everyone will be able to make a choice and get exactly what they want. Suggestions welcome, as always.
